Bayer AG is a German chemical and pharmaceutical company founded in 1863, and is the marketer of Xarelto, a drug that potentially causes severe uncontrollable internal bleeding, and has resulted in lawsuits being filed by Xarelto lawyers. It is headquartered in Germany and well known for its original brand of aspirin.  The company was reorganized into a holding company in December 2003, with its core businesses being transformed into limited companies, each controlled by Bayer AG. These companies include Bayer CropScience AG; Bayer HealthCare AG; Bayer MaterialScience AG and Bayer Chemicals AG, and the three service limited companies Bayer Technology ServicesGmbH, Bayer Business Services GmbH and Bayer Industry Services GmbH & Co. Bayer HealthCare is Bayer’s pharmaceutical and medical products subgroup.

Janssen Pharmaceutica is a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Beerse, Belgium, and is the manufacturer of Xarelto, a drug that has been linked to severe  bleeding. Xarelto Lawsuits allege the company failed to warn doctors and patients that Xarelto could cause death by uncontrollable internal bleeding. Janssen Pharmaceutica was purchased by Johnson & Johnson in 1961, and is now part of Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development. 

Johnson & Johnson is an American multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturer founded in 1886. It is headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The corporation includes 250 subsidiary companies with operations in over 57 countries and products sold in over 175 countries. Its brands include the Band-Aid brand and Tylenol.
