Mr. Rounsaville is a trial lawyer whose focus is representing investors in disputes with broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and financial services companies. Mr. Rounsaville has more than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer in a wide variety of litigation. He spent 17 years representing major Wall Street brokerage firms and financial advisors throughout the country. He has personally tried more than 80 cases before FINRA arbitration panels; served as lead counsel on hundreds of other matters that were settled or dismissed prior to a final judgment; and argued numerous appeals in federal and state courts. He is a member of both the Alabama and Florida bars. The Best Lawyers in America lists Mr. Rounsaville as a leading lawyer in
securities litigation.

Mr. Rounsaville has broad experience with a wide variety of securities and investments including stocks, bonds, preferred stocks, mutual funds, options, structured finance funds, auction rate securities, ETFs, REITS, commodities, stock futures, annuities, and universal life insurance. He has extensive experience in cases where financial advisors engage in selling away and unapproved outside business activities.

Representative matters include serving as lead counsel for an international financial services firm in hundreds of cases arising from the sale of Puerto Rico municipal bonds and bond funds, serving as lead counsel for a national broker-dealer facing claims from more than 100 customers where their financial advisor pleaded guilty to federal charges involving selling away and a Ponzi scheme, and serving as lead counsel in hundreds of cases brought against a regional broker-dealer involving the sale of its proprietary funds allocated to asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and collateralized debt obligations.
