Jaime Haggard Scivley

Levin Papantonio

316 South Baylen St.
Pensacola, FL 32502

Ms. Haggard Scivley is a trial lawyer whose primary focus is securities arbitration and litigation.
Beginning her law practice during the 2008 global financial crisis, Ms. Haggard Scivley spent
fourteen years representing major Wall Street brokerage firms and financial advisors throughout
the country. Her experience lends a unique insight into the structure of broker-dealers, well
beyond the relationship between customers and financial advisors and deep into firms’
supervisory, compliance, and surveillance structures. And she understands how to value investor
claims.

Ms. Haggard Scivley has tried or resolved hundreds of arbitrations that involved victims of
financial fraud, unsuitable investments, and failure to supervise financial advisors. She has
experience with a variety of products including annuities, options, bond funds, preferred stock,
fixed income and equity mutual funds, and structured finance. She has extensive experience with
cases where financial advisors engage in selling away and unapproved outside business activities.
Representative matters include claims from approximately 100 investors against a national
brokerage firm where a broker pleaded guilty to federal charges involving a Ponzi scheme (which
also included FINRA and state regulatory investigations), hundreds of claims against an
international financial services firm that arose from the sale of Puerto Rico bond funds, hundreds
of claims against broker-dealers for investments in Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac financial preferred
stocks, claims against broker-dealers for the sale of Lehman structured notes, and claims for the
sale of structured finance bond funds.

Ms. Haggard Scivley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2004. She
attended Cumberland School of Law on an academic scholarship and graduated magna cum laude
in 2008. She was a member of Cumberland Law Review and served as the Student Materials
Editor.
