Mrs. Adams started her litigation practice with Levin Papantonio in 2005, becoming a partner/shareholder in just 4 years. Since 2019, Mrs. Adams has made it her passion to pursue civil litigation for survivors of human trafficking. She works hand in hand with national anti-trafficking organizations and survivor-advocates to support her clients and frequently speaks publicly to raise awareness about trafficking. She is committed to changing the perception about victims of trafficking and forcing accountability against those who take advantage of our most vulnerable children and adults.

Currently, she has cases filed throughout the country and she is working with a team of lawyers involving litigation against national hotel brands, tech giants, and other businesses who have benefitted from victims of sex trafficking. Mrs. Adams firmly believes that through litigation will we begin to see a genuine effort by businesses to take action to combat human trafficking. She along with a team of advocates and talented co-counsel have made unique and novel arguments that she hopes will empower other victims and legal minds to join in the fight.  Mrs. Adams has written several articles and amicus briefs on legal issues in support of survivors of human trafficking, including to the United States Supreme Court advocating against Section 230 immunity for technology companies. In addition to her case load and work with survivors, Mrs. Adams has served as Levin, Papantonio’s general counsel, vice president,  standing management team member, executive team member, and managed the firm’s marketing efforts as well as the firm’s intake operations.

Since 2011, Mrs. Adams has been AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, which is the highest rating achievable by attorneys. Additionally, Mrs. Adams has been selected for inclusion into the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers since 2013. She is past President of the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 and National Women Trial Lawyers Association and a current member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. She is a frequent speaker at national conferences involving all aspects of mass tort litigation and women’s rights. Over her career, she handled single event cases involving catastrophic injuries due to faulty products, car crashes, wrongful death, and admiralty/maritime cases. Mrs. Adams has also litigated complex product cases involving defective heart devices, anti-depressants leading to birth defects, defective UTVs, Zyprexa, Rezulin, Asbestos, and FenPhen, and was the firm’s lead attorney in an antibiotic drug litigation resulting in a large settlement for her clients.

She is currently licensed to practice law before all Florida courts, including the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, is admitted in many federal districts around the country.

In her free time, she teaches Sunday school, volunteers as the athletic director for her children’s school, and she loves taking short getaways with her husband and children – even if it is only to the back yard for a picnic.
