Ms. Poerschke’s impactful contributions have played a pivotal role in securing nearly $60 billion in recoveries. In the realm of governmental entity representation, Ms. Poerschke’s clientele includes an extensive array of states, cities, counties, tribal sovereign nations, as well as pension plans, public utilities, and hospitals. Her dedicated advocacy consistently addresses the unique challenges faced by these entities. Most recently, Ms. Poerschke represented more than 700 local and state governments in the National Prescription Opiate and Pharmacy Litigation MDL, landmark litigation against opioid manufacturers, distributors, and dispensers for their role in a decades-long national epidemic. Ms. Poerschke played a pivotal role in the prosecution against one of the prominent Big Three pharmacy defendants. In addition, Ms. Poerschke served on the ESI Logistics Committee and as an expert liaison. A recognized authority in her field, Ms. Poerschke has been a featured speaker at numerous legal conferences, contributed to publications, and served as a guest lecturer at the University of Alabama School of Law, sharing insights on evolving trends and issues in E-Discovery, legal analytics, and securities litigation best practices.
